Question

This question is related to two incidents transmitted in Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim regarding silk.

The first ḥadīth suggests that on one occasion ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with him) saw a silken cloak and suggested to the Prophet ﷺ to purchase it.
